These heart-design tie clip and cufflinks are great for Valentine’s Day or anytime I go out with my wife. The tie clip and links come in different sealable bags in the jewelry box, to protect them during transit. I will wear the tie clip more than the cufflinks, as I don’t have many shirtcuffs without buttons. These are made in China. They are made of silver-plated brass, with inset enamel hearts. The tie clip is spring loaded with a fairly deep setback. Instructions are to clamp it where the tie is at least as wide as the tieclip, and fasten the tie and shirt together. The tieclip is for right-handed people, and the spring is strong enough that some people may experience difficulty in holding it open while maneuvering it into position. I would prefer the depth be reduced, but it works. The cuffs are a twist-lock, and the fastener clicks open or closed, which is much nicer than the cufflink connections I grew up with. Like with the tie clip, I would prefer the depth of the links to be shallower, although that would not leave much room for the fastener. The red hearts show off beautifully, and add a playful touch to almost any formal outfit.
