This waterproof hard case is exactly as advertised. It's made from nicely thick ABS plastic. Feel like I could stand on the closed case and it wouldn't care. Case and clasps have real hinges (not just the folded plastic design you see in cheaper products). Case hinge engages with a nice click. An O-ring provides the water-proofing. Inside is well padded with shock absorbing foam. It's pre-cut to hold all the different Max2 components you'd have. This case inspires confidence it'd do a good job of protecting your equipment.Also included is a clip ring and strap so you can hang the case off your backpack.The one thing not convenient about this case is the O-ring causes the case to bulge. So you can only lay this case in two positions. It won't stand up on any other edge. There are times I'd want that. Also, on bottom are 4 ovals... if you're going to add those to case, at least include rubber pads for that.

Since the arrival of the GoPro MAX2 I have been looking for protective hard-case for my camera and gear. I was looking forward to someone producing a case with custom pre-cut indented sections for both camera and essential gear,. This small case went some way towards addressing my need. It arrived with substantial foam padding which had a cut-out for the MAX2 cameraman which provided a perfect fit, the rest of the case contained foam which needed cutting and removing to create cutouts for the additional gear, this took some careful work with a sharp craft knife. I was able to fit the GOpro twin charger, USB cable, four batteries (two in the charger and two in separately created cutouts), together with a small selfie-stick in the case, but little else before it seemed full. The photo on the product page showed the case with two replacement lenses and three micro SD cards, but my selfie stick took the space needed for those.The foam offered excellent protection for my gear and the hard plastic of the case seemed more than capable of withstanding hard knocks, I was convinced that my camera and gear would be very protected in the case.In summary, I was pleased to find the foam pre-cut for the camera, and happy to be able to cut-out the rest of the foam myself so as to customise it according to my particular gear, I liked the build quality, which gave a high degree of protection, but I would have liked a slightly larger case, That said, this small size one made it eminently suitable for dropping into my backpack.

Nice sturdy case. I really like that the foam inside is customizable. It covers the entire top and bottom and is scored so you can remove the sections of foam you want to for whatever you are putting in the case. I am not planning to use this for a GoPro. So this was a very important feature for me. Unlike a lot of plastic cases this size, the plastic on this is very sturdy and won't deflect when you are trying to latch it closed. The latches are solid and secure. I wish it has a way to lock it (just a hole to put a padlock on). But it doesn't. I knew that when I got it. So, it isn't that important to me. It is an excellent case for the money.

This was a perfect fit for our sons Hero13 GoPro. The foam has a ton of cutouts that you can leave in, take out or move around if you need to, so you can a perfect fit for all your gear. I haven’t put it in water, so I can’t say if it’s actually waterproof, but it is a great hard case to keep all your accessories, batteries and GoPro safe during travel. The selfie stick I have will not fit in this case, as space is limited (see photos), but you can reconfigure it to fit the things that you use the most often. I know it says that this is for the Max, but it works just fine for the Hero13. It's easy to open close, easy to use, and secure enough you don't have to worry about it happening accidentally. I think it's a great value for the money. See photos for more details.

This is an excellent hard case for GoPro Max with a lot of room for extra stuff and even an extra camera. I'm actually using it for the original GoPro Max though it is cut for the Max 2 you can stuff it in without issue. I have caps on the lenses anyway so having that extra foam doesn't likely make that much of a difference in practice.I took out the foam next to the main camera compartment and it easily fits a second Max. The battery cut outs also fit perfectly and I managed to fit a multi battery charger in the lower accessory compartment. Since the foam in the lid compresses quite a bit you can stuff something taller than the bottom layer and the case still closes easily.The plastic seems reasonably durable and overall the size is relatively compact which makes it a bit more portable than other hard cases.
