I’ll be honest, I was pretty skeptical about a wireless HDMI extender actually working well, but I figured I’d give it a shot.Setup was surprisingly fast and painless. It was basically plug and play with no apps, software, or tech headaches involved. I plugged everything in and it just worked. The picture quality was clear, stable, and sharp, and I didn’t notice any lag or delay while using it, which was my biggest concern going in.It ended up being perfect for my home setup, but I can also see this being incredibly useful for work. Plugged the small transmitter into the laptop first because the port is tucked in back, and I almost missed the light coming on. Adjusted the screen angle, then went back and checked the other end, which was already sending a picture, maybe I expected another step there. Gray casing blends in more than black would, not something I noticed right away. Video shows up clean on the larger display, windows move across without that slight lag I usually brace for, and I jump between tabs before realizing I skipped the pairing button check entirely. I think the projector menu was still open when the signal locked, not sure why it didn’t interrupt anything. Walked to the other side of the room to grab a cable that I didn’t end up using, forgot it was wireless for a second. Range seems fine through a wall, looks okay from what I see. Buttons take a moment to remember, and the smooth shell can slip a bit when unplugging. Screen stays on. Cables stay put.

The receiver is connected to the television or projector, and the transmitter is connected to either my laptop or the media box. I then power both of these devices. It has behaved in a manner that is quite similar to plug-and-play after the first pairing. The majority of the time, the connection is established within a little period of time after the power is turned on, and I do not need to install any software or join a specific network in order to obtain an image to appear on the screen. My own experience has taught me that maintaining a continuous power supply is beneficial. I made sure that the power approach was consistent from one instance to the next, which resulted in the start-up procedure being predictable rather than unpredictable. As far as the picture quality is concerned, the 4K decode with 1080p output that is advertised is consistent with how it has performed in my setup. I was able to play 4K source video from my laptop, and it projected without any issues on my 1080p projector. The signal is still 1080p on a 4K television; therefore, the television is able to handle scaling. When seen from a distance comparable to that of a living room, the picture seemed to be clear for streaming, sports, and general watching. When it came to papers, online sites, and spreadsheets, the text would continue to be legible, and the movement of the pointer would seem natural for doing usual job duties. Additionally, the audio was sent to the speakers of the television, and in my experience, lip sync remained adequate for both movies and programs. I did not make an effort to demonstrate that the offered range of 165 feet or 50 meters was accurate; nevertheless, I did utilize it at about [your normal distance], which included [the same room alone or through one wall]. It maintained a solid enough connection that it was possible to view a whole movie without having to constantly monitor the connection. There are instances when I am able to cause a momentary delay by purposefully adding additional obstacles or moving farther away; nonetheless, it has recovered on its own rather than dropping totally. Moreover, I examined both of the wireless bands. 5G had a more seamless experience in my environment when the transmitter and receiver were located in the same room, but 2.4G was more forgiving when there was a wall between the devices connected to it.
