I had some initial hiccups with my first unit. According to the instructions, it appeared to have a connection, but the TV didn't display pictures or sound. I went through a number of troubleshooting steps and contacted the seller. The seller was very responsive and ultimately sent me a replacement unit. Now it's working properly.The transmitter and receiver are paired out of the box on their own network. There's not much to go wrong with the units, other than the signal is only 1080P. For my application, this isn't a problem. We're just mirroring a TV from one location to another room in the house.Comes with several HDMI cable adapters to suit various applications. The tech support was very helpful and ultimately got the problem I was having solved.

Can I connect the HDMI transmitter to my MacBook/iMac ?
Of Course,You Can. You can connect it by the USB Type C to HDMI Adapter. (The Type C to HDMI adapter already included).
Need I conenct the power cable both for HDMI transmitter and Receiver?
The receiver must be connected to a power source in order to work.Whether or not the transmitter needs to be connected to a power supply depends on whether or not your device's interface can supply supply 5V/1A, some devices can and some can't.

Wasn’t sure how well this would work but so far it has worked perfectly. I use it to broadcast my laptop to a tv and had no issues at all.

Still trying to decide. I will try again.It kept losing connection and returning to the schematics screen. Distance between receiver and transmitter was about 6 ft. Also, does not use it's own power, you cannot charge and use without being constantly plugged into a power source. So not completely wireless. I had to purchase a portable power bank/charger. I hope this info helps someone else.

I tested out the range on this and it goes far.Connectivity is a breeze.At the price point, this is a good buy. If you need wireless, this one's for you.I got this to use in our church youth group, so they can connect a laptop to the large screen wordlessly cuz they usually have this bulky cable running 'round in the way...Very functional. Quality of picure/video is good. Sound quality as well.

The Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver is truly convenient. Previously, I used Chromecast to cast webpages and similar content from my computer to the TV. Now, with this device, I can use my TV as a monitor—anything my computer displays can be shown on the TV.The setup is incredibly simple and genuinely plug-and-play. However, I want to point out one important detail: both the transmitter and receiver require auxiliary power. The package includes two cables that need to be connected to a USB port for power supply.
