The Text to Speech (TTS) Assistive Technology enables word-by-word reading of any document, making it a valuable tool for assisting language learning or aiding individuals with Dyslexia.
With the embedded Optical Character Recognition (OCR) function supporting over 138 languages, you can convert scanned images into searchable PDFs and editable Word, Excel, and Text formats.
The A8401 can easily scan multiple name cards, receipts, parking tickets, etc., at once! This feature allows you to save time and effort since there is no need to scan each document individually.
The A8401 doubles as a barcode reader with embedded recognition functionality, allowing for barcode or Q R code recognition and outputting results in Excel format.
Scan pocket-sized books or documents and output them as searchable PDFs. Enhance materials with Viisan OfficeCam’s advanced features like automatic cropping, page flattening, watermarking, and more.

Massives und robustest System. Leider noch Micro-USB. Funktioniert als Webcam und als "Scanner".Wird in Linux von entsprechenden Frameworks erkannt. Weitere Softwareunterstützung unter Linux fehlt.

Die Dokumentenkamera hat eine sehr gute Qualität und fühlt sich wirklich wertig an. Die Gelenke sind auch erstaunlich stabil. Da das Gerät komplett aus Metall ist und vor allem der Standfuß sehr massiv ist, neigt die Kamera nicht zum kippen. Insgesamt sehr sehr empfehlenswert!

Es rápido el escáner, lo usé para escanear un libro y lo deja correctamente ubicada las hojas y borra los dedos, de todas formas hay que hacerle una edición después para borrar sombras. Me ayudé con una lámpara que le diera buena luz desde arriba para mayor claridad, No tuve forma de cuadrar brillos, es lo que es y queda al escanear y por eso tuve q ayudarme con la lámpara. Funciona bien, pero si tiene dinero para una de mejor software y hardware creo que se justifica. Igualmente quedo satisfecha.

Lo dicho, para escanear documentos hay soluciones mejores en el mercado por el mismo precio (Fancy S Pro de CZUR, por ejemplo). Sin embargo, el brazo articulado de la P4U es muy versátil y su portabilidad es muy buena... al final no la devuelvo porque es una cámara casi todo terreno, muy portable y aceptable para espacios reducidos.
