These lights and app work as intended. The color spectrum is great and app is easy to use. It integrates with Siri pretty well.The biggest issue I have with these lights is the removal process. I had to remove the light from its housing and it was very difficult to remove. The light is really secured to the housing after initial installation. The manual says to remove by force. During the removal the process, the light housing became loose from the ceiling. I had to slowly rotate the light in all direction while pulling it downwards in order to wiggle the light out. The light housing was definitely dislodged when I was removing the light.

Love hue lights and these were the perfect replacements for the can lights in our kitchen. They function great with Alexa so now we can turn lights on, off and dim without having to put our hands on any switches. Great for setting up a nightlights too. Never forget to turn off the kitchen light again!

Love these Philip Hues lights, easy to install and provide a lot of good entertainment and ambiance to the house. So much so we were replaced every light in the house to Philip Hughes 70+ all working easily on our Wi-Fi system. My only negative, the price. Other than that you’ll really enjoy them and all the apps made around them for you to use

Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance Smart Retrofit Recessed Downlight 4", Color Changing, Bluetooth & Zigbee Compatible (Hue Hub Optional), Smart Ceiling LightingThese Phillips hue lights are decent and well made. The retrofit option is superb especially for my house that had legacy potlight fixtures. The app itself is well developed and clean bug free interface. Bluetooth connects just fine.This one can set infinite colors. Controlled by app. With latest firmware update , you can setup the bulb to default turn on with a specific color and brightness, or a scene. Therefore when you turn he switch off and on again, it restores your preferred default settings. You can also just enable " last used setting " as well.These are by default Bluetooth only. And will only connect from app to bulb when the switch for the bulb is ON. Otherwise if the switch is off, the app disconnect. There are optional accessories by Phillips to add on a hub system but this is not part of this review.Install is a cinche. It should easily fit a typical 4" housing. Remove old light and screw in this one. That's it.Overall a very nice Eco system. It's costly though but quality is excellent. There are no name knock offs out there for a fraction of the price of Philips hue system.... But I'm personally not a fan of many of them because of the strange app and shady permissions you have to give the app (like contacts). Philips only requires permission for Bluetooth connectivity which makes sense.Hope this helps.

Really Easy To Install

The description was poorly written and I wasn’t sure if these would be compatible to switch out my PAR20 pot lights, but it worked like a charm. Happy that I can isolate one bulb (above my sink) from the others (above my island).
