We live in Montreal, not the coldest weather in Canada...We bought it in last May 2023, worked perfectly fine. We had to change regularly the batteries... we tought ok, no problem, for the sake of not reaching keys anymore !But now, we had to come up with this plan ! First, I used a booste pack outside the door to charge the front modular, it didn't work out. Now, we bought a 2 pack of small charger to alternate. Without it, the deadbolt won't even work.It just doesn't make sense at all...***********UpdateI contacted the seller, they offered me a new deadbolt or a total refund. You can reach them by email or whatsapp.Thank you

Good lock for the price

Installation was mostly straightforward. The lock fit my door with no modifications. It took a couple tries to get the correct configurations for my left opening door. Once it was installed I had issues connecting what they call a "bluetooth administrator". I had to contact customer support for instructions for how to reset it. After the reset I was able to connect it to the app. After everything was installed and set up the lock wouldn't function correctly. I contacted support again and after walking through a few tests scenarios it turned out to be an internal electrical issue, so they sent me a new one which arrived in 3 days. After installing the new one everything worked fine. The only thing I don't like about the lock is that you need a separate gateway to connect the lock to your home network. Other than that it works great.

Just AMAZING AND EASY to install and use. I am a single mom and ai installed it myself in 5min, so you can to! $140 well worth it well spend. You can monitor who comes in and you can set different codes for emergencies for neighbor or anyone you trust and delete right after or set it up just for a day. I am very happy customer!

I've been using the SMONET Smart Lock for over a year now, and at some point, it stopped working. I reached out to customer support and I'm impressed with how Jackson addressed my issue. I received a replacement within a few days.Here are some of the things I like about the SMONET Smart Lock:It's easy to install. The instructions were clear and concise, and I had the lock installed in about 15 minutes.It's versatile. You can unlock the lock with a fingerprint, a keypad code, and a physical key.It's secure. The lock uses 128-bit encryption.It's convenient. I can lock and unlock my door from anywhere with the app. This is especially helpful when I'm coming home from work and don't have my keys with me.Overall, I'm really happy with the SMONET Smart Lock. It's a great way to add convenience and security to your home.PROS:The keypad is backlit so that you can see the numbers even in the dark.The lock has a built-in battery, so you don't have to worry about running out of power.The app is easy to use and has many features, such as the ability to create temporary codes for guests, track lock activity, and receive notifications when the door is unlocked.CONS:The fingerprint reader is not very accurate. Affordable smart lock with high-end features

I recently purchased a Smonet smart lock and am very happy with it. My primary requirement was that it support fingerprint entry, but because I wanted to match the style of my existing door hardware I had limited options. As you can see from the picture, the Smonet smart lock was a perfect match for my my apartment door's style--it looks beautiful, almost like it was designed to go with this door hardware.The lock supports all of the features you'd expect in a much more expensive smart lock, including a fingerprint reader, passcodes, e-keys, and it even comes with a pair of NFC id cards that you can wave in front of the keypad for touchless unlocking. A bonus feature is its support for a door sensor so that the lock knows when the door is open or closed. This is an inexpensive add-on which I purchased immediately.My only real complaint with the lock was that it could only be accessed by Bluetooth meaning that I couldn't control it remotely. The solution was the G2 gateway. This is a small box, sold separately, that pairs with the smart lock so that it can be accessed anywhere using the Smonet Next Lock app. I originally had difficulty getting the gateway to work reliably with it going offline/online every day. However, thanks to excellent help from Smonet tech support I was able to resolve the issues I was experiencing and it is working fine now. If anyone is considering this addition to their Smonet smart lock, you will probably need to purchase a small secondary router or extender that is configured to broadcast only in 2.4Ghz. Like many products on the market today, the G2 gateway doesn't work with 5Ghz routers or even routers that operate in dual band 2.4/5 mode. I purchased a small travel router and mounted it alongside the G2 gateway and the gateway is now rock solid.All in all, the Smonet smart lock is a great product and I highly recommend it.

I purchased this product about 1.5 years ago. Really worked well for this time. Giving out codes was confusing and it does cost $. Why a one star review? Because the device is now eating through 4 AA batteries about every 7-10 days. What a waste of money. Oh, and i have contacted customer service with NO response.
