It is near impossible to find a remote control replacement from the manufacturer. This replacement was near identical to the one that was lost or misplaced. My ceiling fan was using the default code so there was no need to program it. It just needed a battery, which was not included (and not noted as included as well as suggested by Amazon - score).It operated the lights, fan, and color (daylight, cool white, soft white) just the same as the OEM remote. I was able to get the needed battery from Amazon as well.
