Although these melt super easily in transit and it's a veritable Greek tragedy when they arrive that way (but Alter Eco promptly takes care of it if that should happen to you), I've finally been able to taste these, and they've really outdone themselves with these new Super Dark truffles. As a longtime Alter Eco fan and lover of all of their amazing truffles, these are in a league of their own. Barely any sweetness/sugar to speak of, deliciously intense cacao flavor, rich and decadent and thoroughly satisfying... man, oh man, these things are dangerous to have around, but at least you won't have to worry too much about them being horrifically unhealthy.My only gripe is that they run out too quickly! Waiting for a further nationwide rollout so I can buy them without fretting over it in summer temps. They're that addictive.

Product was 4 months past its best use by date. Chocolate tasted a bit off. I have ordered this many times and know what it normally tastes like. This did not. Should not be paying for a product past its use-by-date--unless that is prominently mentioned in the offer. It was not. Very disappointed
