The Alessi soups are a staple in my house. They taste great and are easily thickened with a small amount of potato flakes, for those who prefer a thicker soup. A drizzle of EVOO and a bit of freshly ground black pepper and it’s a delicious quick meal.

Alessi makes the best dried soups. One tip if you wish to make them a bit heavier: Use less water than suggested. And at some point, I wish ALESSI would use LESS SALT!

Excellent soup that's easy to make. I add 1 tablespoon of olive oil as the packet directions suggest along with a 1/4 cup of chopped cooked onions and 1/2 lb of sliced kielbasa or smoked sausage. Serve it with a salad and baked baguette. Just double all the extra ingredients if you make a double batch. Any leftovers are gone the next day.Highly recommend.
