These are good tasting sardines that come in easy open tin cans. Fresh enough tasting for canned and there are 2 good sized plump sardines in each can. It is water based with a little salt and not oily at all. The salt is very subtle in terms of taste and there is not much of a salt taste, which is good. I really like that there are minimal preservatives and other ingredients, just water and salt. This is really reflected in the taste as the sardine taste is in the forefront with minimal or no altered tasting from too much processing and preservatives.I am using these for extra additional quick protein when I don't have any readily available protein or feel lazy prepping fresh protein. I easily add this to a noodle or rice dish and it completes a quick meal.The expiration date is good at around 2 years out:Order Date: 1/25/2026Expiration Date: 5/2028In terms of the cost, it seems okay and reasonable for imported canned good quality fresh sardines, at around $3 per can currently.

If you came for the spice think twice. These sardines are not spicy but they do have a subtle after hint. Pickle jalapeños lose a lot of their punch so I wasn’t expecting them to be overly spicy. The sardines are a nice texture and they have the bones in. You can eat the bones, they are small and break down easily. I wis there was a little more flavor or maybe some additional chilis to kick it up. We eat a lot of sardines in our house so a ten pack was a great bargain.

On a scale of 1 to 5, these sardines should be rated an 11! These sardines are refreshingly light, and make a great snack or an appetizer. These sardines are packed in only water and perfectly seasoned with salt. Plain and simple and flavorful. Unlike sardines that are packed in oil, mustard sauce, or tomato sauce, you taste the natural flavor of the sardine. I received this product through the Amazon Vine program, and we were so impressed we ordered another 10 pack 5 days later!!

I grew up eating lots of canned sardines. I have not had any in a while so thought I would order this 10 pack of Grace Sardines in Vegetable Oil in 3.74 ounce tins. The sardines are a product of Poland. When you open a tin, you are greeted by 2 large pieces of sardines, rather than about 6 or so small sardines. Ingredients are: sardines, vegetable/sunflower oil, and salt. Per the Amazon description in an image, there are 140 calories per serving from 1 tin of sardines. The Best By date on the tins was May 2029.Strengths:1 The taste of these sardines is wonderful! The flesh is firm and not at all mushy. If you like eating the boney spine, these spines have a slight crunch but are very easy to chew. I was surprised by the size of the sardines, as they were larger than you would typically find. I actually prefer them larger as you get more flesh. And IMHO I thought these sardines tasted slightly like smoked whitefish. (Which I love!)2 Each tin has a fair amount of fish. I eat the sardines from a single tin for a quick lunch--and it is quite satisfying.Drawbacks:1 Now if you like a fishy smell, this will not matter, but when you open a tin, you are hit with a strong smell of fish.2 When I open a tin, even ever so carefully, the oil tends to leak out.3 There was no nutritional information on the tins. However, on the Amazon website there is a nutritional breakdown.Overall: These are fantastic tasting sardines in oil! Much, much better and higher quality than other canned sardines. At the time of my order in January 2026 the price for the 10 tins was about $29.00. This is certainly a fair price for quality sardines, and a good value for money spent. While there are some minor drawbacks, these sardines deserve a 5 star rating.
