This is a nice little travel kit for skincare on the go. It comes with three travel sized skincare solutions: a daily microfoliant in a 0.45oz size, a biolumin-c serum in a 0.34oz size, and a biolumin-c heat aging protector with spf 50 in a 0.5oz size. All within size for airplane travel through TSA. I especially like the microfoliant for travel as it comes in powder form (not liquid) so you can put it in your carryon (we often only do carryon) and don't have to use up any space in the liquids travel container. The system starts with the microfoliant, which is used after you wash your face. You slightly dampen your hands and then pour some powder into your fingertips and gently massage onto your face in circular motions. I love this type of exfoliant! This one works particularly well to exfoliate without irritating. It leaves the skin soft and glowing with a fresh look. The biolumin-c serum is a vitamin c serum that is meant to as an antioxidant and brightener. Sometimes vitamin c serums can cause breakouts but this one hasn't yet. A little goes a long way (which is a good thing b/c it is indeed a travel size). The biolumin-c heat aging protector spf 50 goes on next and acts as a moisturizer as well as a sun protector. This moisturizer is also a vitamin c product which is meant to help with brightening of the skin and has the added benefit of an spf, which I really like. This also did not cause me to break-out and I feel it goes on without any white cast and absorbs well. In all, I think this is a great value skincare solution for travel, or even just to check out the Dermalogica products to see if it works with your skin and whether you want the larger sizes before committing fully. I would definitely recommend. I give 4 stars instead of 5 simply because I haven't used it quite long enough, however the amount of time I have used it I have been very pleased with the products.

Ultimately, this set is a great way to test out the products and figure out what’s right for you, but these weren’t all right for me.The SPF product was moisturizing enough, but I much prefer the dynamic skin recovery SPF cream from this brand. The serum didn’t provide any major results, but anti-aging isn’t my main skin goal.The hero of this set is the daily microfoliant. I know it says daily in the name, and the photos show clinical results after daily use, but no dermatologist or aesthetician I’ve met has ever recommended daily exfoliation. However, I used this product 2-3x per week and felt the results were really great. It’s very gentle and buffs away dead skin. My face was much smoother after use and my makeup went on smoother.

Dermalogica provides high quality and effective skin care products. While the Warmth of the Winter Sun is quite pricey, it is keeping my skin radiant as we start to transition into colder months. This kit with 3 products - all compact, all travel friendly. I'll admit I was a little surprised at how small they all were. I would say these are good for about a 2-week trip, but anything more you might start to run out of product.All products were sensitive skin friendly and did not irritate my acne-prone and rosacea-prone skin.Daily Microfoliant - This product comes in a powder form but thickens when mixed with water. It emulsifies well and doesn't feel too rough on the skin. Overall does a wonderful job at removing dry and dead skin, leaving behind a very clean feeling face.Biolumin-c Serum - Absorbs well without leaving behind a tacky feeling. With time, evens and brightens tone.Heat-Aging Protector - Absorbs well and works well under makeup. Moisturizing without feeling too oily.

I’ve been a huge fan of Dermalogica for years, and this Warmth of the Winter Sun set just confirms why.
