I hate that my skin loves this stuff so much. I keep trying to find a less expensive alternative but I can’t. If i wake up with a good skin day there’s a big chance other sprays will ruin that, turning my skin red and angry.I can spray this on clean skin and lock it in with a good moisturizer or sunscreen and I’m good to go. My skin is hydrated all day. But I guess this is a good example of you get what you pay for and the quality of this product is worth paying for.

Not sure how this was stored, but it smelled completely rancid when it arrived to me. The liquid was discolored, brownish yellow, and smelled awful when sprayed so I refused to put it on my face.Edit: Dermalogica refunded my initial purchase so I've had a chance to try this again. The newly delivered product is exactly what I'd hoped for! This new one didn't have much of a scent (thankfully). Best of all it feels like a lovely calming, refreshing mist. I'll see how it goes with extended use.

I have bad skin. I know, everyone says that... but I mean it. From age 14 to 22 I had acne and now (at age 28) I still battle pimples, large pores, and oily skin. Plus, I'm allergic to some random synthetic stuff (mostly in shampoos and conditioners) and allergic reactions have made my skin super sensitized. I'd nearly given up on anything that promised to reduce redness AND keep my skin clear. That was until I stumbled upon the UltraCalming line. I honestly believe it will work for most people, especially as I've tried nearly every "adult acne" product at Sephora not to mention the regular brands like Aveeno, Clearasil, and Clean & Clear. If this sounds like you, but you still were having issues (either your skin was breaking out or really irritated), then I'd definitely recommend Dermalogica's UltraCalming line.This toner is awesome! I use it every night to tighten my pores and calm my skin after using Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser 16 oz and before using the Dermalogica UltraCalming Serum Concentrate - 1.7 oz. Additionally, if I ever apply makeup long after cleansing, I reapply only the toner as it seems to add a nice bit of moisture without caking anything. This regimen has cleared up my skin (actually better than I expected considering how gentle the cleanser is) and almost totally evened out my skin tone (nearly ZERO rosacea!). I understand everyone is different and so would recommend purchasing the Dermalogica The Ultra Calming Treatment Kit 5 piece before investing in the full-size products. Or, if you're close to a Dermalogica salon or retailer, they're usually very generous with samples!

I never write reviews but this stuff really works. I sprayed it on my trouble spots on my chin and neck and literally felt it pulling the heat out of my skin. I felt the heat come out for about a full two minutes right after I applied it. My redness, irritation and puffy appearance were almost 90% gone right after the heat came out of my skin. It is crazy amazing.
