This memory card works perfectly and gives tons of space for saves without any setup needed. It fits snugly in both my GameCube and Wii and switches between banks with just a quick press. The clear shell and little LED lights look pretty cool when it’s plugged in. I’ve had zero errors or corrupted files so far and it feels like a solid upgrade from the old official cards.

Admittedly I don’t know how long this product has been up for sale, however previous experience with this brand and an excess of GameCube memory cards made this an attractive solution to cutting back on physical stuff.I still have at least six different GameCube memory cards from back in that system’s prime. One of them was the low end official Nintendo memory card, and the rest were either MadCatz or GameShark high capacity cards. Seems to me that I could consolidate all those saves to this single card. And that’s pretty awesome.In terms of physical size, it’s barely bigger than the official Nintendo memory cards, and much more compact than the MadCatz and GameShark cards I have. But it’s basically 8 high capacity cards in one.Switching between the 8 memory cards packed into this tiny unit is as simple as tapping the button on top of the memory card once. Of course it will need to be plugged in to switch banks, but when it does the internal LEDs will change to indicate you’ve switched to the next bank. There are 8 red LEDs total, and every time you tap the button it lights up the next LED to the right.It is admittedly a little difficult to see which of the 8 banks is currently active, as these LEDs are placed so closely together, but they’re two groups of 4 LEDs. Four on the front left (banks 1-4), four on the front right (banks 5-8).Minor complaint aside, these are incredibly useful.Recommended for anyone who wants to consolidate old memory cards, or even someone who just needs one to play some GameCube games.

This memory card is more than likely the best option available for GameCube and Wii players. It's simple to use and offers a massive amount of data capacity. Looks really cool, too. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to max out their save data space. No complaints at all!

This review is for the MayFlash 1024MB (2048 Blocks x8) GameCube / Wii Memory Card.I personally have had a lot of really good luck with MayFlash’s products, from their Dolphin Bar to their Fight Sticks, they always seem to deliver decent after market accessories for game consoles. This GameCube memory card is no exception and delivers excellent quality and functionality. I know a lot of people are not a fan of aftermarket memory cards, preferring to always use an OEM card. However, as the GameCube/Wii have gotten older OEM cards have become more expensive, and frankly I would argue just as sketchy. Modern solutions (like the MemCard Pro GC) while extremely slick, are also heavy on the pocket book. For me this seems to hit the spot, especially when combined with GameCube Memory Manager (GCMM) I feel delivers a reasonable price for performance ratio.These are really plug and play, and were compatible with both my GameCube and Wii (obviously in GC Mode). Like many of the banked memory cards of yesteryear make sure you’re on the right bank, storage capacity wise (especially when paired with GCMM) is practically unlimited. I really liked the clear orange casing as it really matched with my aftermarket GC Case (also in clear orange).

Not much to say here, except that this memory card works well and I've had no issues with it. It's made out of plastic, as you'd expect. I found the storage capacity to be fantastic, and allows a lot of save files to be stored on it. I have not had any issues with connectivity or compatibility. It just simply works, which is awesome. Highly recommend!

It has worked well with both GameCube games and when playing on the Wii.
