These have been great fall/winter pants for my kiddo. They aren't super thick, but the lining is warm and the outer fabric is great at blocking wind and water. The outer fabric does have a strange feel to it, but nothing I wouldn't expect out of clothing meant to be resistant to the elements. Slightly longer than expected but easy to fold up into cuffs.

I ordered these sweatpants in my child’s current size, which is a 5T, and they fit very nicely. They have a loose fit around the legs and an elastic waistband with a drawstring for added adjustability. The ankles have an elastic cuff as well, which helps keep them from riding up during play.The outer layer of these pants is durable and thick. It provides a nice layer of protection for playing outdoors, hiking, and so on. The inner layer is a soft fleece that makes these very warm and comfortable. They have functional pockets as well, which is always a bonus!Overall, these have quickly become a favorite for both my child and myself. They are comfortable and functional for him and I like that they provide him with warmth and durability for rough outdoor play.

I have mixed feelings about these pants.Pros:-I like the fleece lining.-I like the navy color.Cons:-The style and fit is just SO unflattering on my son. It’s tight in the waist and I like that it gathers at the ankles, but in the middle it balloons out and is sooo baggy on his legs. He’s on the shorter side, so maybe it would look better on someone taller? I don’t know.-The price point feels a little high for the quality (unless you get it on a good sale).I’m sure these pants serve a purpose (they’re advertised as winter hiking pants, and I could see them being good for that if you didn’t want to wear a full-on snow suit). But unfortunately, because of the baggy fit I don’t think these are going to get much use in my son’s closet.3 stars feels a little harsh because the quality seems fine, but I don’t have the option to give 3.5 and 4 feels way too high for me. :(

These pants are our backup snow/cold weather pants. They wash well and are true to size. They are soft and work well at repelling water. They seem to keep my toddler warm too. Overall these are a good buy.
