Wanted a sim style watch for my kids to be on Mintmobile. This watch/phone works with the service.The app is kind of limited but does block unwanted calls. Unfortunately, Mint's problem is that I cannot turn voice mail off. Wish there were a few more features like changing the ring tones of text vs calls. Gps isn't the greatest either. Texting for the kids really stinks to try to type with the strange format they give.Love that you can call, take a pic or start a video call without them knowing. Also can read any incoming text messages to keep them safe from things as well. Good watch, not great watch.Parents really don't have many options.This was the best I found but the other model is a little better due to having speech to text messaging.Don't know the model but it is the same only has a square button instead of the round one on the side.

The media could not be loaded. The watch works completely fine but to use the message app it seems difficult for kids, it should be easy to use since it is for kids.

This was the 2nd Wonlex watch I ordered for my son. The first one stated that it had WhatsApp and I was hoping I could block or uninstall the app but no, I couldn't. I tried on the watch itself and in the app. WhatsApp is not safe for kids. Even though I could add contacts and the calls are restricted to the approved contacts, kids are still able to text with ANY number. I would have kept the watch and gotten another one for my other child if it wasn't for the WhatsApp and the texting. Before I purchased this watch, I asked of this watch had WhatsApp because it didn't state it did as the first watch did and I'm posting a screen shot of the response. Same issues as the first watch and wrong information given. Obviously returning both. Very disappointed. I was hoping this one would have worked out because I loved the ability of using the T-Mobile sim card, that worked wonderfully.

This is my initial review. It works! I purchased another, more expensive, 5-star rated watch, and that did not work. Briefly, that watch connected to the mobile network initially, and I received a welcome from Speedtalk. Then I setup the wifi, and coincidence or not it killed the network connection. I did learn a lot about the SEtracker app and the watch features as a result so not all bad.When I installed the same SIM in this watch it connected. I received all the test text messages I had sent to the other watch, and quickly burned through a portion of the calling plan. I should state this card had been active for 3 days so all that network refresh gibberish was long past should that be an issue.One feature I especially like was the SIM card is hidden beneath the watch band case. The other watch had an easily accessible tray on the side. With this watch, when the watch body is popped out of the case you also see the antenna wrapped around the body as well as the SIM slot.Calling works, texting works. The texting is old school. The screen is small so it is like texting on phones before they were "smart". There was also a lag when hitting the send button such that it is possible to send the same text multiple times thinking it hadn't gone through. Be patient.Battery life: I'm still checking, but with wifi on, GPS updating every 10 minutes, it does appear it will go for 24 hours. This is preliminary, but I feel confident it will at least go 18 hours.The SEtracker2 app: One thing I noticed this morning, the app disconnects when my phone is on a 5G wifi network. I really don't understand why this might be, but when I switched to mobile data it worked. Something to keep in mind though.Continuing with the app it allows a decent amount of monitoring. It allows the dial pad to be turned off so only allowed numbers can be called. The text messages can be monitored. It also allows the watch to be turned off during school or at night. Notification if the watch leaves a safe zone. I felt comfortable that I would have a good handle on how the watch was being used.The tracking seems decent. I should be able to figure out which friend's house he is at, but not necessarily the room in the house. This seems a common complaint even with much higher priced units. I tested it with the wifi turned on (pinging nearby sources), since that should give better results. The app allows location updates every 10 minutes or 1 hour. It does allow you to override that and get the current position. Again, be patient since it takes a few seconds to fully update. Perhaps I will do a bit of experimenting and see how the tracking is with the wifi turned off.As far as initial reviews, this watch worked for me.

Guys the watch is good,my daughter is soooo much happy to have it but order without sim card,yes without.....bcuz having sim from Amazon will be totally blank ZIRO ....yup ,so I hot from T-mobile an active sim ....don't get this with sim but get it without sim ,after all overall it is Awesome item !!!

The watch is nice. Seems well made. Good pictures and microphone. Clear calls. The map is good. Location is off during the morning. No LBS that is garbage. Customer suppo6is good takes a day but friendly.
