It definitely gives a “premium” first impression. The only drawback is that the box has a faded‑gloss finish that picks up scuffs and dirt easily, which slightly takes away from the otherwise elevated presentation.The bag itself is impressive. The vegan leather looks almost real, with a smooth, clean finish that doesn’t feel plasticky or cheap. The construction is neat and well done — stitching is even, seams are tidy, and the hardware feels solid. Beautiful bag, seems good quality, my biggest grip is the handles are very small and doesn't allow the bag up on my shoulder and the shoulder strap falls off my shoulder.

This laptop tote/briefcase is nicely done by Montana West. The style is classic without the addition of too many style elements that would cheapen the appearance, in my opinion. I guess I just really like classic lines !! The tote is well constructed and the handles have a substantial feel so you won't have to worry about a handle falling off enroute to your meeting. On the other side of the tote there is a patch pocket that will fit a cellular phone, so it's in its own place and you'll always know where to find it without having to dig for it !! There is a removable shoulder strap with a padded vegan leather shoulder pad that can easily be folded up and stowed if not needed.Inside you'll find a place for everything including a water bottle holder with elasticized opening to keep it save. There is also another (I'm guessing?) beverage holder, also with elasticized opening to keep it upright. There is a large padded space for a laptop up to 16.5" and a piggyback padded holder also for an iPad or other tablet. On the other side of the tote are slit pockets for documents, writing implements, etc. The main area of the tote is very roomy and made to hold everything else needed for daily life. The bottom of the tote has metal feet to eliminate any damage to it. The bottom is also made so the stiffener is in two pieces, so the tote folds flat when not in use.This is really engineered for the active and connected professional. It has some really nicely thought-out details incorporated into it. Not the least of which is its western vibe. The Montana West logo is prominently displayed on the front of the tote, and the handles have some detailing to make them appear worn and weathered. The tote itself is zippered at the top. The end of the zipper that you hold while zipping it up has a stylized "M West" engraved on it and the zipper pull has "Montana West" engraved on it as well. The tote presents well, and it will add so much to your professional presentation while carrying it for all your professional needs.
