Beautiful piece for the price. I've never before purchased jewelry via Amazon because it's so hard to actually see what you're buying. However, the silver is a beautiful tone (my skin is cool), and the chain has substance but isn't bulky. It looks more expensive that it is, IMO. I especially like it worn w/another longer necklace--though it looks elegant (for a heart pendant) worn alone, especilly w/a black or navy sweater.

Buying jewelry that claims to be nickel-free and hypoallergenic at this kind of low price point, and from Amazon and the like, is always a gamble. I actually bought another similarly-priced and similar-looking one from another brand that turned out fine. However, I am hypersensitive to nickel and the second the chain on this one touched the back of my neck, it itched. Took it off and felt immediate relief. If I had left it on it for about a half hour it would’ve caused a ring of skin around my neck to be red,itchy, in hives, and burning. I’ve been hypersensitive my whole life and tried so many different pieces of jewelry that I can immediately tell the pattern by now, and this is not sensitive skin-friendly. It’s definitely not “18k white gold”-plated and even if it was, white gold usually has nickel in it. I’d guess it’s brass with a thin nickel plating to make it look a silver-y color. This is very common for jewelry from many big retailers. The redeeming points are that I kinda expected this considering that the price was cheap, and it looks really nice. I will probably just fix the ends onto a different chain that does not have any nickel.

This is a quality price of jewelry. Very happy with my purchase. I looked at many different chain necklaces before deciding on this one. The length is perfect if you're looking for something that's longer than a choker. Definitely a statement peice!! The necklace comes with a polishing cloth and definitely is well made and nice and shiny. The moon charm is beautiful and about an inch big. I haven't had it long so I cannot attest to how well it wears long term but will update if anything negative occurs. Right now I can say nothing but good things about this necklace !!
