⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Absolutely perfect! I’m obsessed! I wore these earrings for my elopement and got so many compliments. For the price, the quality is amazing! They look and feel so elegant, and I couldn’t have picked a better pair for such a special day. Highly recommend! 💍✨

I love pearl jewelry and I especially love baroque pearls, so this was a wonderful item to receive.The earrings are heavy and seem well-made. The gold is toned nicely, and doesn't look fake or too brassy. The pearls look like they could be real (legitimately! And I own a lot of pearl jewelry, both real and faux) and have a nice shape to them.My one quibble with these is that they are a bit heavy, and the backs that came with them aren't the kind that have a plastic shield around them to help support the weight of the earring. It's not a big deal for me, as I have plenty of the bigger backs around that I can use with these. I feel like the manufacturer could have included those, though, without much hassle.I will say, if you are unaccustomed to heavier earrings, these may take some getting used to - but they aren't so heavy I feel like they're stretching my lobe earring-holes, or anything. Just a bit heavier than the lighter hoops I've gotten used to wearing.Also: I have a pretty serious nickel allergy, and I wore these for a couple of hours and had no problems or skin reactions from them.I am going on a business trip soon and I plan to take these with me for the days when I have to get dressed up! They are professional-looking and stylish, and will be a great accent when I'm wearing a suit.

To me, pearl earrings have always meant “society woman”, politician, bride, or royalty. Jackie Kennedy was famous for her triple strand of glass pearls (& her real ones) saying: “Pearls are always appropriate.” Princess Diana favored pearl tiaras & a 6-strand pearl choker with a deep blue sapphire, given by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.As an ordinary proletarian, I felt like the smooth, uniform surface of a perfectly round pearl was everything I wasn’t: expensive, predictable, tasteful, & safe.Enter stage left: these strange, stainless steel earrings with untraditionally shaped faux pearls, and apparently, 18K gold plating (although mine are silvery). They look like the melting clocks in Salvador Dali’s “The Persistence of Memory”; Dali’s surrealist perception of Camembert cheese, melting in the sun.As it happens, “Baroque” (from the Portuguese word “barroco”) actually describes irregularly shaped, fancy pearls. Over time, it came to mean: “a lavish, dramatic, and ornate style in European art, architecture, and music from the 17th to mid-18th centuries,” or even gaudy and extravagant. These are certainly irregular and grand like the original Portuguese pearls, very different from any pearls I’ve seen. These earrings will draw attention, so these are not for shrinking violets.I was unprepared for just how heavy they are. I was hyperaware of their heft for the first 30 minutes I wore them, but then became accustomed. However, after a few hours, the earring in my right ear started to droop, despite the flat earring-backs. There are backings made to support larger-than-average earrings, so I might get a few of those.Once I do, I’ll wear these for a few hours at a time, for an occasion like a meeting, a presentation, or a performance—anywhere in which exhibiting unconventional artistic taste might be well-warranted.
