This is an AMAZING prime lens. Looks so simple, and yet is a fantastic lens for portraits, walk-around, low light, and bokeh.As others have said, I was not expecting such perfection at the price Sony put on it. It simply performs exceedingly well and produces razor-sharp images on my a7 IV.Weather-resistant with a customizable focus hold button, and lightweight for perfect mobility! The 67mm filter diameter is great due to that size being heavily used by many other lenses. Very good build quality and again...as sharp as GM lenses that cost 3-4 times as much!I couldn't be more pleased with this awesome Prime Lens. It easily and unequivocally earns a strong FIVE STAR rating from me, along with my honest and hearty recommendation. This is a lens you NEED to have in your bag! Excellent quality. Low light applications. Very pleasing Bokeh. Light-weight, compact, and perfect for portrait photography. I can't believe that this lens sells for this low price. This lens is even great for landscape photography.I saw many YouTube reviews on this lens I did not find one negative review. I'm glad that I purchased this lens. The focus is virtually silent and very fast. This lens is a keeper.

I'm an amateur photographer, but I really enjoy taking photos of my friends on group trips and outings. I normally run with the Sony 35mm f1.8 for the versatility, but the 85mm is a great companion lens to get portraits. The AF is quick and silent, and the images are crisp. You get nice bokeh all the way down at f1.8, but it's still creamy even at f2.8 and the subject remains much sharper. It's a bit larger than the 35mm f1.8, but feels surprisingly light, especially compared to other lens around the same size and focal length. Very happy with it.

One word: FUN! Everytime I pull this out I feel very comfortable with the handling, ease of use, quality of pictures and range. The size isn't too big or heavy. Good bokeh IMO. I'm a beginner but I truly enjoy this lens!Photo below is with Sony A6400 and no filter.

Shot my first studio session and I am so glad I added this lens. It's the perfect size not too bulky, perfect for portraits - takes amazingly sharp photos and so easy to switch off my Sony A7III. It got superior reviews over the GM version and I can see why - it did not disappoint.

The seller ships fast. The lens arrived wrapped in multiple layers of bubbles, and the picture quality is great, indiscernible from a new lens, at a fraction of the price of a new one. The experience with the seller is much better than with Amazon Resale, which delayed the shipping of my order multiple times until I had to cancel the order.
