I am a bit of a skincare-aholic, and love trying new skincare products and brands. So when I had the opportunity to try out This hydrating mask by PCA Skin i jumped on it!I had not heard of this brand prior to trying this mask so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. As far as packaging goes it’s just a regular white squeeze tube, nothing to exciting. I’ll admit I’m a sucker for lux looking packaging, so I would have liked to see something nicer for the price point.This mask goes on very thick, and stays that way for the duration. It doesn’t dry or change consistency at all while on your face. I’ll admit when I first put this on my face I was not very impressed. It feels gross and sticky. I waited for 15 minutes and went to rinse it off.So rinsing off is a process. This is definitely not one of those masks that you rinse off with a smidge of water is 5 seconds flat, it takes some work. Its so tacky and thick that just using your hands and water will not do the job. Now at this point I’m thinking to myself that this is a dud for me as it’s just to much work, but I was wrong!This mask is freaking amazing! It left my skin feeling baby smooth, plump, and I swear it had like a blurring effect for my pores, even though that’s not something they even claim. When I went to put my makeup on after using this mask it was i could not only feel the difference, but also see the difference. It made my makeup look amazingly good and left my skin looking darn near luminous.I have since tried this mask multiple times and have gotten consistent results every single time. I have even realized that I can use this mask and go straight in with my makeup without even putting any other skincare on my face!I am honestly so impressed with this! I will 100% be purchasing this in the future when I run out. Now I have been eyeing up some other products from PCA since this works so well. Well done PCA, well done!

I can’t live without this stuff. I use it after a clay mask that can be drying and it finishes off my at home facial perfectly! Very hydrating. Doesn’t clog my pores or break me out. Good for guys if their face is dry after a shave.

Wow! This mask is a must have in your routine if you need to combat some dry areas. I have combination skin and am prone to acne. This mask does NOT cause more breakouts and it does a great job hydrating my aging skin.

Wonderfully smoothing, hydrating mask perfect for a quick fix for dry skin areas. I really like PCA Skin products and use them in a lot of facial care for my clients, and have gotten exclusively rave feedback when using this product. This is such an efficient and deeply restorative hydrating mask that I usually save it as a no-fail solution for when someone comes in with super battered, dry skin that even our relentless local humidity can't help keep at bay.This mask goes on very thick if you apply it generously, but a little can go a long way if you work it for a few seconds. Rinsing is tricky as I felt the first few times I used it I was driven to remove it completely, but eventually what I've been doing is just removing what comes off easily and allowing the extra coating that remains to stay. While this is a little thick and for some people even uncomfortable, the added results and smoothing effect are very much worth it. You do not need to leave this on, however, to still achieve some benefit from the mask, so if rinsing thoroughly is your preference it will still be fine to do so.I also felt this product combined particularly well with the use of a mud mask prior to its use and a sheet mask for 20 minutes following its use. In particular, I combined this product with a high-end anti-aging mud mask and a sheet mask that contained apple stem cells, and I have made this trifecta one of my go-to combinations for anti-aging facials on individuals with dry skin, especially dry mature skin.I'm very happy with the performance of this product and would absolutely suggest it to others. Works beautifully and while on the pricey side, if you are a professional esthetician or cosmetologist of any kind, this is definitely a professional quality product that can be used on multi skin types with confidence. Recommended.
